The Latin Cafe Concept

Our History
Our Concept
Our Menu

Latin Café 2000 has long been recognized in the community for serving large portions of Cuban- inspired dishes. The restaurants’ signature dishes include the Cuban sandwich, Desayuno Tradicional (traditional Cuban breakfast) and the Palomilla (thin-cut, juicy steak). For the health-conscious, the restaurants also offer the ‘El Cubanito Saludable’ or ‘The Healthy Cuban,’ which presents lower calorie meals. The Brickell location also boasts a curated cocktail menu featuring standouts such as the Classic Floridita Daiquiri, prepared with Havana Club, lime juice, cane sugar and a dash of Maraschino Liquor; the Malecon Mule prepared with Havana Club, guava nectar, fresh lime and topped with ginger beer; the Watermelon Mojito with Bacardi Superior Rum, fresh mint and house- made watermelon juice; and the Café con Leche cocktail.

The number “2000” that you see at the end of our name, signified a new era of Latin Cafeterias. We wanted to develop something bigger, something better than the small Cuban Cafeterias scattered around Miami. We believe in serving only good, high quality, food, at reasonable prices along with a friendly warm greeting every time you walk in the door. We created an authentic eating experience, by offering everyone a taste of our Culture. . . a little Taste of Cuba TM. We were so excited by the success of our first location, on LeJeune, that we opened up two additional locations in Hialeah and Biscayne ! We were ready to evolve our concept into what we hoped could bring a fully immersive Cuban experience to Miami. Our most recent concept, Brickell, boasts Cuba’s rich colors and unique architecture, along with the same flavorful cuisine that you’ve grown to love.

In 1998, the vision was to create a unique market niche for an upscale restaurant featuring Latin-American cuisine. We succeeded in obtaining board market appeal and strong repeat patronage by serving high quality food at very reasonable prices in a pleasant, upscale environment with a distinct look and enhanced quality of products and service. Today, we are proud to be Miami’s leading restaurant franchise offering the best Cuban fare in an exciting, tropical, and entertaining environment.
